With Microsoft Office Picture Manager you can manage, edit, share, and view your pictures from where you store them on your computer.
Opening the Software:
Method A
Go on Start
All Programs
Choose Microsoft Office
Click on Microsoft Office Tools
Then choose Microsoft Office Picture Manager
Method B
Locate the photos on the computer
Right click on the photo
Choose open with
Select Microsoft Office Picture Manager

You can view the pictures either in thumbnail, filmstrip or single picture view by clicking one of these buttons.
Double click to select a picture and edit it as you like from the Picture menu.
From the picture menu you can adjust the brightness and contrast, you can crop, rotate and also adjust the color. But the adjustment that teachers I work with request most is the compress pictures.

When you choose Compress Pictures you will given various compress settings on the right hand side which include:
Don’t Compress
Documents
Web Pages
E-Mail Messages
Choose the setting you want and click on OK.
Finally, you can save your pictures. I suggest that you save them with a different name so as to keep the originals in case needed in the future.
